The conversion program is designed to replace various old style cooling systems in cabinets. Rather than repair the older units, we are offering a new cooling unit with an adapter flange kit. This kit is designed to retrofit the opening in the cabinet for the cooling unit and modify it to house the new cooling unit. In addition to the flange kit, some cutting may be required in order to accommodate the new cooling unit.

There are two sizes of cooling unit to choose from. The WhisperKool 1200 and 2300 Btu units offer a varying amount of cooling capacity based on the size of the cabinet and the environment the cabinet is exposed to.

Recommendations:
1200 BTU unit: Designed for cabinets with less than 400 bottles of wine with cabinet stored in a temperature-controlled environment such as a living room, dining room, etc.

2300 BTU unit: Designed for cabinets with a capacity of 400 bottles or more. Or for cabinets in a non- temperature controlled environment such as a garage or basement.

Identifying Old Style Cooling Units:
In order to select the correct flange kit, it will be important for you to identify the old cooling unit currently installed in your cabinet. The following page identifies a number of old style units based on color and dimensions. Identify the correct unit and the corresponding flange kit number. Be sure to identify this number while ordering.

Warranty:
The new cooling system is warranted against defects in parts and workmanship for the period of one year from the time of sale, freight included in continental United States. During the warranty period, Vinotheque will repair or replace any defective unit. If unit is returned, tested and determined to be in correct working order, customer will be responsible for all freight charges associated with shipment to the factory and back to the customer.
